Tire and Lube Technician
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Tire & Lube Technician (Contract) to support our busy Service Department from September 29th to December 12th, 2025. What You Will Do:
- Perform maintenance and repair work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, following dealership and factory standards
- Conduct oil changes: drain and refill crankcases, replace oil and air filters, and check/inspect vehicle fluids
- Rotate, inspect, and service tires in the lube lane and storage area
- Lift, move, and organize tires/wheels (up to 50 lbs) in the tire storage facility
- Maintain accurate tire storage records and inventory organization
- Operate tools and equipment in a safe, responsible manner
- Help maintain overall shop cleanliness and dealership appearance
- Communicate effectively with service department staff
- Report any safety concerns immediately to management
- Support the dealership by performing additional duties as required
What You Bring:
- Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license with a clean Driver’s Abstract
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Lube Technician or in an automotive service environment preferred
- Ability to safely lift and move tires (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills
- A positive attitude with a genuine interest in automotive
